About Us!

All about us! 

I thought I would start this blog as a way to be myself and show the world the things I enjoy. I know there are a lot of blogs out there to read and follow and hopefully you enjoy mine. I’m new at this so give me some time to get adjusted.

About me? Well I am 34 years old and I have 3 children. One 13 year old girl, an 11 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. As a little girl I always dreamed of having a family (a big family). I couldn’t wait to get married and have many children. I loved to babysit all my cousins during holidays and I loved playing with my friends younger siblings.  I used to ask God not to come back until I had children. Ahhh…. the thinking of a child. Things sure did work out differently for me than I had planned……I met my previous husband when I was 17 years old. We divorced after being together for 13 years. I never thought I would get divorced but then I was the one that initiated it.  I am now remarried to my wonderful husband and we have a two year old together. We have been through a lot during our short marriage already and we are pulling out ahead.

I love to learn and do about anything. I started painting a couple of years ago. I love taking pictures, going to church, reading my bible, reading,  hiking, fishing, camping, playing video games, board games, cooking, crafts, crocheting,  working on cars, yard work, gardening, BBQ’s with family and friends, Quad riding, biking, boating, wakeboarding and probably many more things that are not listed. It’s hard as a mother to add in all this stuff and be successful in this busy world.

I quit my full time job when my oldest daughter was entering kindergarten and I homeschooled them for 6 years. I loved it so much. It really has been the best job in the world raising children. I was made to be at home nourishing them and helping them grow.  I love computers and technology but I don’t want my kids to get engulfed in it. I believe in the days of playing outside and using your imagination. I believe in keeping them little because they will be adults for so much of their lives that they might as well enjoy being kids.
